The festival is indigenous to Lo-Manthang, Upper Mustang. Over the Mustang Tenchi Festival time monks dressed in elaborate costumes and masks perform dances and rituals that are supposed to drive away evil spirits. The Tiji festival dances are all organized by the Choedhe Monastery, which belongs to the Sakya sect of Buddhism. The monastery is headed by a Rimpoche. About 65 monks from Lo Manthang, Nhenyul and Chhosyer reside in this monastery.

Day 01 – Arrival at Kathmandu Airport, meet our representative and transfer to hotel.

Day 03 – Early morning drive to Pokhara in tourist bus.
Day 04 – Early morning fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni ( 2900m ) ( 3-4 hours).
Day 05 – Trek to Chuksang (3,000 m) , 5-6 hours of walking.
Day 06 – Chuksang (3,000 m) to Syangboche (3610 m) ( 5-6 hourse).
Day 07 – Trek to Charang (3560 m) (6-7 hourse).
Day 08 – Trek from Charang to Lo-Manthang 3840m/6-7 hours via Ghar Gompa.
Day 09 – First day observe Tenji Festival Lo-Manthang 3840m.
Day 10 – Second day observe Tenji Festival Lo-Manthang 3840m.
Day 11 – Final observe Tenji Festival Lo-Manthang 3840m.
Day 12 – Trek Lo Manthang (3750m) to Yara (3580m). 5-6 hours.
Day 13 – Rest Day at Yara visit Luri Gompa.
Day 14 – Trek Yara to Tange (3320).5-6 hours.
Day 15 – Trek Tange (3320) to Chhuksang (3310m).
Day 16 – Trek from Chhusang to Muktinath 3,710 m / 6-7 hours.
Day 17 – Trek Muktinath to Jomsom 2720m/5 hours.
Day 18 – Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara 820m and rest time at Pokhara.
Day 19 -Drive back Pokhara to Kathmandu 1340m/5-6 hours.
Day 20 – Final departure from Kathmandu.
