The Annapurna Region includes world-famous routes such as the Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, and Ghorepani–Poon Hill Trek. Trails pass through terraced farmland, rhododendron forests, deep gorges, and high mountain passes like Thorong La. The area is culturally diverse, home to Gurung, Magar, Thakali, and Manangi communities. Treks range from easy to strenuous, with accommodations from basic teahouses to comfortable lodges. The best trekking seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November).
