Detailed Itinerary

Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Kathmandu toward the Nepal–Tibet border. The road winds through beautiful hills, rivers, and traditional villages, offering a glimpse of rural Nepal.

Upon reaching the border, you will complete immigration and customs formalities before entering Tibet. After crossing into the Tibetan side (Kerung), you’ll meet your Tibetan guide and continue a short drive to your guesthouse.

This day marks the transition from lush green hills to the dramatic landscapes of the Tibetan plateau.

Today’s journey takes you deeper into Tibet across vast open landscapes. As you ascend in altitude, you’ll notice the scenery gradually changing into wide plateaus, barren hills, and snow-capped peaks in the distance.

Today is one of the highlights of your journey. You will drive along the Tibetan highway toward Mount Everest.

You will then visit Rongbuk Monastery, known as the highest monastery in the world. From here, a short drive takes you to Everest Base Camp (North Face), where you can witness the majestic north face of Mount Everest up close.
